Post Phantasy Star Online 2
Has anyone else looked into PSO2? It came out in Japan roughly a year ago and is slated for a NA release early next year. For anyone that played the original PSO this is very similar except it doesn't offer an offline mode. I am actually playing on the Japanese server at the moment and the one I am on actually has a lot of English speaking players. If anyone is interested let me know and I will post up the guide on how to get it set up. It's not to hard.

I might give that a shot! :)
I actually did some reading on that game when I was looking up stuff about the dreamcast system. That system was definitely ahead of its time.

Here are some links to various resources and information for the game. If you install the game give it over night to patch up. And be sure to install the English patches. There is a lot of stuff that has been translated but some of it is being worked on. Big thing they are working on at the moment is translating items. I guess there was a patch for it but with UI changes it's not working and they are trying to fix it. The majority of the English speaking community is on Ship 2 (server) and block 20. You can change blocks by going into one of the green elevators in the Arks lobby. My characters name is Fuiri.

Arks Layer: This site has a tweaker that helps check to make sure you files are up to date. Mainly the English patches. There is also a Story patch here that translates a lot of the story for you. It also has a setup guide and an English download section. It's supposed to make the download faster for installation but I didn't use it.

This site has a lot of information about the game, classes, quest and much more. When the language barrier kicks in this is a good place to look to figure things out.
