Post A mission for you all
Find me an entertainment stand/credenza that is no more than $350sih and will fit this center speaker while being the same cherry color.

http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/specs/recent/cs2

I have yet to find a stand with a big enough place for it, and I would prefer not to have to set it on top of the stand to keep it clean looking.

WTF?

Why on earth do you need a center channel like that? Is your TV in an auditorium?

meh, the msrp on that thing is 350 so if you got it cheap well then ok but paying anywhere
near that for a center channel is ridiculous.

If you're putting together a home theater, the center channel is actually likely the most important speaker in the room since the vast majority of sound for most movies will come through the center channel.

The more important thing to do is make sure your center channel is matched with your L & R speakers so the effects in front of you are seamless.

Yeah ummm.. I'm not a moron I know what is important.. I also know paying 350 for a center channel is ridiculous..
Since Air got that CC for cheap it's all good but had he not then he made a mistake. That CC is not worth
350. I'm not a big fan of Polk anyway.. I much prefer Boston Acoustic and Klipsch for medium range prices.

And as for the matching.. Polk's lower end center's cs1-cs2 etc. are horrible for timbre matching.. They only
sound good with the matched L&R's they were designed for.

Yes, the Cherry color they use is not great, but I did match all my speakers with CS2s. I'm also in an apartment so going really hardcore with speakers was not an option.

I spent all day sunday going around trying to find something to use and could find nothing, not even Media Towers. Best buy had one but only 4 shelves on it and I didn't want to buy two of them.

It's a big nightmare right now trying to find a good TV console with room for a Receiver, PS3, Xbox360, Wii, and Blurray player. At this point I'm content to just have the center sitting on top of the console closer to the eve anyhow to make the dialog closer to the TV.

I know I could use the PS3 for a blu ray player but it's one of the original fatties that still plays PS1/2 disc so I would rather not burn the motor out on it playing movies.

try tvstands.com

I think that's where i ordered min from.. I needed a stand that could hold an older plasma that weighs a tonne.
