Post need some food advice
So since this forum doesn't get used much I thought i'd try and get some use out of it..

Anyway, what i'm looking for is some good food that's fairly healthy and nice and filling that I can live off of. Since the week that BC comes out I will be doing nothing but sitting in front of my computer and playing it. (Except of course for the time I have to use the restroom)

Looking for something that's simple, healthy and easy to prepare. I will have a microwave and mini-fridge in my room, and other than going to the bathroom I don't plan on leaving my room for anything else.

Chicken and rice... Theres an assload of different chicken/rice/stuffing/macaroni mixes that you can bake and live off for a week at a time easily..

I prefer plain broiled chicken with Basmati or Jasmine rice though with a lil butter.. I'm not into fancy stuff.. Stovetop stuffing is good also..

very easy to prepare and will keep in a fridge for a week or so and tastes just as good reheated...

Lean cuisines are pretty good -- about 300 calories/ea and they actually taste decent

Also, I'd also go with protein sandwiches -- maybe use hummus, peanut butter, almond butter or pimento cheese

Try Truwind's Jambalaya recipe... it takes about 4 hours to prep/ cook.. but the recipe is large enough to feed about 20 people. LOL! that would last you a week! And it's damn good too!!
However, if you do try this recipe... I recommend you get a 5 gallon stock pot!!

Rice and vegetables are really simple and quick to make. Either make the rice using instant rice and a microwave or if you have a rice cooker even better, then just heat up some frozen vegetables and mix into the rice with a dash of sesame or soy sauce. Tasty, healthy, and dirt cheap.
